Doc’s wedding package includes
all of the following features:
- A 20 x 40 or 20 x 60 tent on the side lawn facing the beautiful and breath-taking Bluff and Three Top Mountains. The tent will be set up the day before or earlier. The tent has no sides so that lights are not needed. Cool mountain breezes can be felt by all.
- Use of the old southern front porch at Buffalo Tavern for the marriage vows.
- A delicious and festive fully catered Hors d’oeuves buffet reception for 40-60 people, including steamed shrimp with cocktail sauce, savory mushroom strata bites with grated parmesan cheese, fresh baby mozzarella with tomato and basil, carving station with oven baked pork tenderloin or herb-roasted turkey, and 12 other delicious menu items. Sweet treats, coffee, tea and cocktail dinner rolls are included. It also includes the stainless flatware, glassware, china, and linens. - A beautiful wedding cake, designed with the bride and groom in mind.
- An MC to host the event and take care of introductions and announcements.
- A bartender for 4 hours to take care of you and your guests (wine and beer only must be provided by the wedding party). Gratuity is included.
- Extra flowers and plants placed throughout the venue to add beauty to the event, including table decorations.
- The use of the Buffalo Tavern facility from 1 p.m. on the day before the event until 11 a.m. on the day following the event (This does not include the owner’s area.). Guests will be welcome to check in early!
- Three rooms (3) and One Suite at the historic Buffalo Tavern Bed and Breakfast for two full nights, the night before and night of the wedding. These rooms can be used for the wedding party or for guests who will be attending. Eight guests can be accommodated. A full breakfast is included each morning. The wedding couple is welcome to enjoy the President’s Suite! The bride will have access to her own private dressing area. The rate for the rooms is included in the package; all room rates are discounted for the event.
- All the chairs and round tables to accommodate the group, set up under the tent and ready for the reception.
- Additional tables for the catering services, music, bar, if used, and wedding party head table.
- Additional help (minimum 2) on the day of the event to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Gratuities are included.
- A restroom (port-a-potty with running water) on site for the event.
This includes all the catering, set-up and take down, the three rooms and one suite for two nights at the Inn for the wedding party or guests, and additional help. It does not include applicable sales tax. Weddings on other days of the week are possible. Contact the Innkeeper, Doc Adams, for more information and for package prices for weddings and/or receptions from 40-60 people. A smaller number (30-39) can be accommodated. The catering costs may be slightly higher per person.
Doc can also design a package to meet your individual needs. The package can be modified for receptions and parties.
